We are on the brink of the most astounding breakthrough in the history of mankind. We are just months away from awareness of a spiritual connectedness that will usher in an era of peace and enlightenment. It goes by many names, but the storms are coming, and the little rivulets of living waters are collecting in the valleys and plains of our mutual inner landscape. Like some cosmic tractor beam, we are irresistibly drawn to the light.
You can see it in the resurgence of fundamentalist Christianity, in the evangelical movement, even as it breaks away from its hijacking by political opportunists. The movement is operating in New Age circles, in the Wicca movement, in the return to Native American traditions, and most of all in the oneness of mind being nurtured by the technology: the Internet, instant messaging, television, and global communications. There are all manner of study groups for modern revelations – from books like the Conversations With God series, The Urantia Book, and A Course in Miracles, to name a few. All these recent spiritual revelations are centers of light. And the lights are growing and merging into one brilliant family, recognizing the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.
Yes, there are rumors of Armageddon, and whispers of the end of the world in 2012, but what need is there to worry when we know we walk with God? What matters it if empires collapse and structures implode, when we recognize our reality in spirit and the eternal life promised by the Son of God?
Some of us are lucky enough to know a love in life where we have a mind meld with our partner. We finish each others sentences and we share a bond that fosters telepathic communication. It’s not reading the other person’s mind, but rather an awareness of one mind. Now imagine that kind of love between all the awakened souls on the planet. Global warming, poverty, and war will be banished in a matter of days. Our connectedness and awareness of spiritual realities will build a new society constituting the Second Coming of Christ.

Did Sharon Stone have a near-death experience?
Sharon Stone had a serious brain injury which caused her NDE. Stone told Katie Couric about her experience wherein she felt herself being pulled into a vortex of stong, white light where she had seen some of her friends who had previously died. She said that very quickly she returned back into her body.
Thomaston man thankful after near-death experience
Smith said later that in those 60 seconds he was in a different place. He described it as “heaven’s waiting room,” and said it was the best place he had ever been.
“It wasn’t even happy,” he said, trying to describe the feeling. “It was absolutely peaceful. Then my father came and said, ‘It’s not your time.’”
Near-death Experiences Sought for Possible Broadcast
The International Association for Near Death Studies is cooperating with a television production company on a possible TV series about near-death experiences and their impact on people’s lives. Experiencers are invited to participate.

Near death experiences and the Hollywood connection
The past two weeks have been a sorrowful time since the death of the famous entertainer, Michael Jackson. Sadly, there will be no account of his personal experience immediately prior to his death. However, there are accounts of several Hollywood stars who had experienced near death and lived to tell their stories. These Hollywood near death experiences are included in the book “Death’s Door” by Jean Ritchie.

This is a blog for you!
Please help make it a success by contributing your near-death experience stories, insights, and opinions. NDEs are related to other Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) such as religious epiphanies, angel encounters, and transcendental awakeinings. Please share your personal experiences.
In the following days I will attempt to bring you news about the rapidly changing study of near-death experiences, and will provide scientific findings from a study of the database of the International Associaation for Near-Death Studies. I have written a statistical summmary on those findings; see http://www.NearLifeExp.com. And I have written a book illustrating the findings with narrative case histories.
“A Measure of Heaven” offers a fascinating view into the realms of spirit based on near-death experience reports. Findings include out-of-body perception, seeing a light, and meeting unearthly beings.
